Troubleshooting / Backgrounds MOD for FFNX (FFVIII 2013)

I'm using Junction VIII, but there's only a WIP Axl mod there (which is still very incomplete). I tried installing the Project Eden and Project AngelWing mods (both for Tonberry), but they don't work well on FFNX. The textures get all messed up (maybe there's a trick to it, but I haven't found it). I'm using the steam version.
