Hi guys,
I recently emmigrated from the UK to NZ, and left my FF8 PSX back in the UK. However, with a bit of forward planning I also got a hold of a copy of FF8 for the PC and so have been able to play with that for the time being.
I've used both Ficedula's configurator plus the FF8 launcher, but I'm torn between having an improved soundtrack for the game (as I'm sure we all know, the PC midi's are pretty lackluster) or improved resolutions and widescreen ratios for the game. I'm trying to tinker with them to get the best of both worlds, but I'm a novice when it comes to these things.
Aside from the INSANE sensitivity from my 360 wired controller (tried every help topic but can't turn off the analog stick, however I can play the game most of the time if the left stick is untouched), I'm wondering if there's any help available in order to play with the improved resolutions as well as the improved soundtracks.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.

If this is how you've been handling the relationships, then you may want to reconsider your methods.
yeah well maybe when your character is attacked in a community where you really haven't even been given a decent chance to establish yourself than you'll understand my reaction. Not to mention I am under an enormous amount of stress because of my workload. I am not saying that what I said was right, I am just arguing my right to defend myself against what I felt a was a legitimate personal attack. But whatever its fine I don't really care. I don't hate you or anything.
Finally filter - 90% of people in NJ need to have a filter between their brain and voice box. The profanity doesnt bother me, but there are a decent amount of people who need to learn when to shut their damn mouths.

Also, I am not speaking of the people that cuss, I am talking about people who dont know when its time to shut up, if this is you, then I mean no offense of course.

Why thank you, and you may not own them, but that was your own personal idea to merge the two.
I'm not a major prick about copyright. The only time I did get buggered about some copy of my own creation is some chick copied and made a cleaner version of a story I called Voodude (basically think voodoo magic coin falls to a regular guy and it attracts wealth and women to him. Some rules apply. Smut novella.) and she copied the name, characters name (my middle names) and basis of storyline. I enjoyed the read but kindly told her that I'd like her to add my information about my original and credit to me. She did so but I do give people a chance. Other then that no one's tried to copy my work.
At least you had a good experience. My experience was not so good. I shall not go into details though as the mods here wouldnt like it and it involved not only someone going against the copyright on my work, but also it involved me going against some actual real copyrights. No worrys, it had nothing to do with ff or squaresoft in anyway =]

1: Other than the medium, no, there are no differences.
2: I don't believe there is.
I too think the censoring is ridiculous for a forum of this nature, but also don't care enough to take it up with Qhimm about allowing it. So for now we'll deal with a few filters and/or asterisks.

Oh well, my question is, are there any differences in the psn versions of ff7 or ff8 other than the fact that you dont need to use a disc?You may have known all the bad words by the time you were 8 or 9, but did you know what they all meant? I for one, didn't know that said 'female genitalia' was actually female genitalia until i was around 12. As for the majority of them, yes I knew what they meant at an early age.
