My first registry edit... that was the most terrifying thing I've ever done to my computer (note that my personal text is "I'm not cut out for this"). It worked though! Movies look much nicer now.

That is correct.  The retranslation old installer is now gone.  It states this in the retranslation thread.

Okay thanks. I expected it to be out there somewhere so I thought maybe I missed something. I await M004 with bated breath.

They have to be created from scratch or else it's illegal or square will get mad or something. That's why you don't see these models much.

10 minutes ago my estimated download time was 5 days, but now it's 4 hours, lol. If my internet doesn't go all crappy on me again I'll be seeding in a few hours. Thanks for facepalming all these backgrounds for us!

I'm a little confused after going through all these different threads for this project. My understanding is the following: the link to R004 doesn't work anymore, and MOO3 does not yet include the retranslation, but MOO4 will, so currently the only way to get the retranslation mod is to wait for MOO4. Is that correct?

Thanks, btw. I'm really excited for this new translation!

I have the 1.02 patch, I did the 0-9 saves thing, I put Aali's driver components into the directory, went into config, passed the self test, and switched to custom driver, but my game looks exactly the same (rather screwed up looking) and when I tried to install the retranslation patch it said Aali's wasn't properly installed.

I don't supposed you'll need to see my config file for this one. And by app log do you mean app.txt? Because mine is blank.

When you used the config did you set the renderer to custom driver?

Ah! Thanks! I watched a tutorial video but it was too small to see that part, and the narration didn't really make it clear. Adding that step makes a lot more sense...

I installed the game, installed the 1.02 patch, played to the first save so I have the input file and a save file, copied the save file to have 00-09, and copied in all the aali’s files, but when I click on the config file I don’t get the message. I decided to try it out anyway. I changed the resolution, but the game still plays exactly the same. I have no idea what I did wrong.

Any ideas gentlemen? Do you think it would help if I used the remix patcher?
