Chocobo+Now Printing Character Connections?

Can anyone help me figure this out, I know the chocobo Icon is used in the name creation screen so don't get too abusive on that one. But you know how Sephiroth is connected to Vincent and Young Cloud to Cait Sith. I was wondering if there was a way to determine if the two Now Printing characters and the Chocobo image were connected to any of the party members same as Sephy/YoungCloud.

Most likely true. I'm trying to poke around for connections but I'm slow at it due to inexperience (haven't even found the chocobo name changing menu the picture is connected to) so it would help to get someone who knows how to better investigate it for a second opinion.
