im thinking of re formatting my whole OS just for this game. man... i never knew you could evolve ff7 this way. this level. anyway, im having trouble patching things up. im using windows 7. well for starters, its way better than xp in some aspects. i mean outside the game. its quick in response. etc etc... yeah it does have some gaming glitch. BUT....trying to make the best out of this game. learning a few things about data manipulation seems... fu ck man!!!! circles circles cirlces..... ive been installing and uninstalling ff7 repetedly just to make the total 2.5.1 remix patch through. deleting ff7 reg everytime i uninstall it. im just scared to turn off my UAC. the last time that happened i barely booted back.
so my question is...which operating system is better? XP or 7?
and i have well almost complete set of modifiers THAT I KNOW OF....avalanche hi res, low res, ff7 remix v2.5.1 and its upgrader, ff7 retranslation, PRP, milenia sword proj, AC patch'''''' LGPs, TEXs, ficedula.... the thing is,,,, well some of them works great. but.. some? well i just extracted the installers then derived the files and replaced the stock lgps. exp...and managed to edit up to kula wende hires cloud as field mod and same with battle. trying to change magic, battlle, world_us TEX. but cant seem to replace towns, desserts, fields etc... ive done PNG TO BITMAP TO TEX. but it just wont change. the chars normal is 46 something MB now its 62 something. and IM NO 3D artist. just want to experience this game on a diferent level.
so the process is realy strainning. ive spent more time editing than playing. and all i really wanted for christmas was KULA WENDE mods. hehe. but yeah. i understand now the value of spending time in your work. my hats off to him.
