« on: 2010-08-19 17:58:45 »
OK sorry for the nubish question, I haven't been here in a year or 2. I been searching the search bar and couldn't find what I was looking for.

I am looking to mod FF8 for the PC I know there was some graphical and sound mods that make the game more enjoyable but bot I am interested in seeing what I missed. Can someone help point me in the right direction I am urging to play this again.

PS~ gotta great find yesterday, went to a garage sale and found FF7 PS1 for a dollar no scratches. I am set for life yo.

There aren't really any graphical mods for FF8. You can use Aali's driver to run it at a higher resolution, but that's about it.

maybe I was thinking about FF7 but I do know there was a way to change the music midi format to "I believe it was MP3" so the game would sound better.

You're probably thinking of FF7Music. I don't know of any way to do the same thing with FF8.

He's probably thinking of this. Its not being updated and the author hasn't been around for a while but I think it works if you're not too picky.
