Alienware X51 Components

I just ordered an Alienware X51 from dell and ordered i7 processor, solid state drive, 8 gigs ram, basically the best possible parts. But I was wondering if it will be able to handle the newest games such as dishonored or future releases on high settings because it only holds one processor and I would have preferred at least dual core. I don't think i can just buy another processor and shove it in there ether but correct me if I'm wrong lmao

i see lol, and it is the one that it comes with, a new nvidia gt 640 and i believe the computer has 2 gigs of vram. it was quite pricey.

it'll run anything you want CPU wise. GPU wise, That GT 640 is what will hinder you, it'll handle most titles on high, but the stop shelf games will probably only be medium (assuming you're working with 1080p) since you spent so much on it already, I'd have gotten a 660 ti or a 670, much more horse power, and will for sure run all current titles at maximum, and probably future titles for a year or so.

I would have gotten an i5 and went with a better GPU, most people don't need what the 3770 has to offer, Hell, i rarely need what my 3570k offers.
