YouTube had similar problems in its early days, but they don't anymore. Once the novelty wears off, I suspect we'll see less of this.
That said, I'm not at all concerned about potential for predators. The thing about a Twitch stream is that it's public. Most predators would rather have chats in places that the whole world (including law enforcement) can't see.
