I just purchased my Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD collection and must say nicely done on the graphics.  Anyone got pretty far in this game already and if so what do you think?

I'm at the Coliseum, I always loved KH. Can't wait to see all of the Final Mix stuff I'm playing it on Proud Mode. Great game. However, I always have the same question for HD Remakes...I really don't know if this would be possible but couldn't they use the High Resolution models in HD Remakes..like the ones with facial depth, I feel like they could. Especially in the case of KH1.5 where apparently they had to completely redo everything using the KH2 engine.

Opinions? I really would like to know how possible this would be. I'm not talking CGI models obviously...just the high-rez ingame model.

Apparently some models in KH hd uses the models in KH Dream drop 3d as it's higher quality i think and lucky you'ze in the uk gonna come out 2 days later can't wait any longer xD but i won't have much time for it after a week once i get ahold of GTA V i like KH but tbh it's abit too overrated just realised recently that i don't like it thaat much but it's an ok game plus already played all of them so replaying them now just hd and the final mix bonus gonna try to get some trophies

There are extra scenes, abilities and Keyblades.  You even get one for beating Sephiroth.

I bought this and Metal Gear Solid: The Legacy Collection at the same time yesterday (even though I already had MGS HD collection and MGS 4). Haven't played either one yet, but they both came with artbooks and that makes me super happy.

I got jibed out of the art book.  They neglected to mention online that it doesn't effect stock in store.  Atleast he managed to back up the dynamic theme so atleast got that.  Not to much of a bigy though because I wanted to play Final Mix forever.  Want wait for two so we can actually fight Roxas in HD.  The anticipation is killing me!!

I'm a bit confused about this collection. Does it include KH2 as well? I believe not... And only the HD videos of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days? I'm a little disappointed about that... Well we can't have everything of course. At least it has Chain of memories which I'm doing a Let's Play on but I'm a bit skeptic if I am to continue with the HD version or with the pcsx2 emulator which gives 1080p resolution plus the ability for savestates...I've watched some videos and the work that's been done seems amazing... Well if you want the one-winged angel keyblade and the one from the ice titan you might want to.  KH2 is coming in the next collection.  Tetsuya (sp?) already admitted that it be pretty stupid not to follow up with the Final Mix version of the second game.  Plus the Final Mix in the first game has alot of extra scenes not seen in the original.  That and the extended extra trailer but we've all seen that like a hundred times but might be badass in HD.  So yeah it can be frustrating if you forgot how to do everything like I did but still worth it.  So yeah Final Mix has alot of extra content new enemies like the black tiny bell thing that creates duplicates of itself and you have to hit the right one.  Though that might not be new since I haven't played the first one since like middle school I think.  I'm loving it so far though even if I can't stand some of the minigames.  Not looking forward to Atlantis again that was the one I hated the most.

I can pretty much feel for you mate since I remember the Winnie the Pooh minigames being so frustrating... they were impossible to get a nice score without using savestates!!! I'm just curious to watch how they did with the Re: Chain of Memories. I guess it must be looking quite charming .

They said they was going to make the full game in hd but it would delay the release alot so had no time and just put in some cinematics.. and you can still play the final mix of KH1 & KH2 download em from the internet they'l be in japanese and patch it with an english patch I played kh final mix 2 on my swapmagic ps2

psh that takes to much effort and money.  But the price is well worth the updated graphics alone.  Considering all the extra content and all the gameplay and cinematic value.  Well anyway I am thinking if they just then animated it couldn't they animate the fights aswell?  It would basically be like Advent Children kinda.


Edit okay so I have no life and almost completed my first play through.  Kind of stuck on the gargoyle thing.  Anyone who has gotten as far as me know of any places worth going back to with new enemies?  Also what is a good level to fight Sephiroth because I did like no damage and got whooped.

I'm doing this to bump the thread and give some good info out.  So to business I found a good exploit for you guys.  I stumbled on it by accident.  As you know when you are locked on Sephiroth and he disappears it breaks the lock.  So when this happens you can 9 times out of 10 relock and find him before he appears.  I recorded the boss fight but the setup I used didn't record the sound.  I'm going to re-record it and post it on youtube.  I also got a free website setup that i'll post it to as well.  I'll link in my signature when I get it done.  Also I barely used any of my elixirs during the first time I beat him he never hit me with sins harvest.

Edit: So I finally completed Jiminy's Journal and unlocked Deep Dive.  It looks freaking awesome in HD by the way.  He actually holds the Keyblades like they do in the game.
