final fantasy viii ( ff 8 ) see d test result crash

every time i go to get the see d test results in ff 8 the game closes itself.

has anyone else had this problem? is there a patch for this?
if not, would anyone be nice enough to send me a save file that is right after the see d test results are received?

You will need to suply some more information about your system? i.e. OS, graphics card etc...

dual boot windows 2000 and windows xp.

ati radeon 9500 now but it also crashed on my old nvidia tnt 2.

i remember reading about something like this way back in the day but eidos has decided to stop supporting this game so i can't find it anymore.

since its early in the game i could use a save file right after the results are given if anyone can help me out.

This patch should only be used by owners of Nvidia GeForce cards.
The patch is in .zip format, extract all files directly into the FF8 install directory. Be sure that all files are copied over.

i need a patch for an ati radeon 9500. if this is not possible can some nice person please send me a save file that is right after the see d test results are announced?

The 2nd patch should work with your system then... download this then try again. If not im sure someone will use your save game to get you past this bit. I would but my copy of FF8 is at university at the moment.

eax will not install over the version that is already installed; what should i do?

the driver binkw32.dll; what should i do with it?
