Hi all,

I was thinking of getting ffxi imported for the PC. I juat have a question before i do this.

I heard that FFXI was an online game, meaning that I cant play it without being connected to squares server. Is this true? and if so then how much money will i need to pay a month to be able to do this? Also as im getting the pc version then i take it i can just use my regular broadband connection?

btw the reason why im posting here instead of searching the web is because im bound to come across a few spoilers for it and i dont want to take that risk

Just wait till it comes out over here...It will be easyer to pay for.

Last time I heard it was 13 dollars a month, with 1 dollar extra for every extra character.

I'm pretty sure it's the most expensive pay to play fee, out there.

Its 12.95 a month, plus a dollar more for ever character. Technicly, its 12.95 a month for CONTENT IDs. You link characters to these IDs.

Meaning, you pay for a content ID, and if you dont like that character, you can delete it and create a new one, and you wont be charged an extra dollar. And vise verse.

But if you delete the content ID, you're looking at having to purchase another one, 12.95 if its the original one you buy.
