Please, I need help!

I am at the 2nd cd, when cloud gives the black materia to sephiroth. After the movie (or someway in the middle) the game crashes. The music continues to play but I can see nothing but a black screen.
Is there anythiing I can do?

Could you provide your PC specs please? It would be a lot easier to solve any problems you have with them. Also, please provide any patches you have installed for the game.

You might also try locating the movie file on the CD-ROM and playing it back in Windows Media Player to see if you can play it without error.

I don't know if this is concidered reviving dead topics
or what not, but I believe you can fix this problem
by mearly changing your graphics to 640x480 in
software renderer.  If you havent fixed this already, hehe.
