Yuffie problems, help needed!

Hey there people!

I'm having the same exact problem as the guy in this thread, but his solution doesn't seem to work for me... I've tried every possible configuration method but the game still crashes after the Exp/Gil screen, so I guess that the only way to get Yuffie is by posting up a savegame for you to help me out... Is anyone willing to help?

Post your system specs.  OS, video card, processor, memory, what version of ff7 you have, etc.

My computer specs are the following:

Intel Pentium 4 2.40GHz processor
1024MB of RAM
Radeon 9700 Pro (128MB of RAM) video card
SB Live! Audio [A400] sound card
 -
Microsoft Windows XP Professional v2002 SP1
 -
Final Fantasy VII v1.02 + Chocobo Patch

I'm usually running the game under 640x480 (Fullscreen) on the Software Renderer setting.

If there is no solution to this problem you can find my savegame  here, I'm currently in the Nibel Area so all you'd have to do is go to the woods, get Yuffie, save the game and post the savegame back to me...
