Does Omnislash crash the game?

I read a while ago that omnislash will crash FF7 running under XP. If so, is there a patch for this? If not, thanks!

Personally, I never had that problem. Been playing for quite a while now.

alright, thanks! It's my first time playing the game and i installed the video patch, 1.02, the chocobo patch and the frame limiter for mini games. anything else i should install that will patch the game but keep it 'vanilla'? i think next time through the game i'll install the high res packs and better music packs. thanks!

It's a known crash. I had it with Win98 and the obsolete drivers of SBLive. So if you do have that crash...it's probably related to your Sound Driver.

Oops, I didn't know that. I'm using XP. Sorry 'bout that.

Well, I'm pretty a few people with Xp have had that crash, too. But I don't have a tried, solution for XP. A guess would be that it's related to the same thing. Sound.
