Windowed?

Is there a patch to play the game in a window?  I know about that cetra (or whatever) patch but last time I tried it a while ago, it just seemed so... shaky, like I couldn't trust it at all.

I dunno if you know what I mean, but have there been any updates or better versions or releases for running FF7 in a window?

You can use FF7w. If you run it with your desktop set a 16bit depth of color, you shouldn't notice any glitches (or that's what I think).

Awesome, perfect, exactly what I was looking for.  Thank you!  Can't believe I never seen this program before.  The game seems to run great, but I did notice a little problem with the opening FMV's, but im certainly not complaining! (nvm, turned out to be the change-to-16bit idea you said above)
