Character switching

Hello , I have a question, is there a way to switch character in battle

like  tifa switch to aeris or caith sith switch to reno or cloud switch whit sephiroth

i've trie myself by replace some cloud file by sephiroth file...result a game crash...

Alright. Not that I'm anyone's mom, but I'm pretty sure there are plenty of topics on this. Yes, yo can switch the battle models. No, you're probably not doing it right. Well I've search but in what I see, no forum tell how to switch character in battle...

So I re-ask my question: How to switch battle character???

First, do not double-post.

Second, switching battle characters is not possible in general, since different models use different skeletons and animations.

so basicly you want a sephy cloud replace i can do that i think

it would be as simple as renaming all of sephys battle peices to rt**
**=old last 2 letters

then repacking

and sephys first 2 letters are SI i think

Well, looks can be decieving. I'm a manager of a Final Fantasy messageboard and I'm sorry if I seem rude, but I think it's a lot easier and more convienient to search for your answers rather then just jump the gun. Plus, I'm not gonna act all happy-twirly all the time.

i've tried that whit other character like switching reno and cid,
well it's pretty weird...well REALLY weird,but's its work for sephiroth
and i'm glad of that thanks!!

oh i forgot to mention that you can't change most enemys to friends yet but im pretty sure you can change most enemys into vincents transforms, or at least you should be able to in theory
