Check FAQ why you shouldn't install XP patch.

About the FF7Music thing- What is a solution to make the music play, because the game says (under Sound & Music Configuration in the Menu) "Not Supported." for the Music, and nothing is playing.

edit: I found this in the log. What does it mean:

With new versions of FF7Music and the High-Res-Patch out, I'll upload a revision of the Multi Patch shortly. Sorry for the delay.

iam having problems with this patch i installed this patch and everything was working fine i had to restart my comp to get the patch to work and i finally had the psx version of the music woooooot.

then i went to bed turned of pc woke up next morning put on ff7 and ther was no music at all just menue sounds and battle sounds but no music.

any idear.

Of course it doesn't. The Hi-Resolution patch must be aplied to a completly clean version of FF7.exe.
You won't get much support in this forum if you use a no-cd patch. They aren't very apreciated arround here. Too close to piracy.
