Hi- I've been having an odd problem with my version of FFVII PC and this seemed like a good place to look for help with it. I had it set up and working fine before, but after a hard drive reformat, I've had to reinstall it, and I can't get it to run properly. I installed the game, the 1.02 patch and chocobo patch, and set up the config with the nvidia fix, but whenever I try to start the game I just get a black screen. I can hear the sound from the Eidos splash video that plays at the start, then after that, nothing else happens, and none of the input devices onmy PC will do anything (can;t alt-tab out, cant use ctrl-alt del to shut it down etc), so I have to reboot my PC.
Any ideas on what might be causing this/how to get it to work?
