FF8 and BlackBoxes

I have a problem with FF8.
I have black boxes everywhere. 
It only occurs when I select hardware.
Software works fine but it look awful.
It there anyway to use hardware

Computer Specs:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 1.7GHz
1024 MB RAM
nVidia GeForce 6150 Go
Vista Home Preminum

If you search forums you will find this has come up tons of times before. As far as I know know one has found a cure yet

I did search the forums before posting.
I was hoping someone could point me the right way.
