The game runs fine, finally got the game to work when turning off certain codecs in ffdshow... but the game is running 640 X 480, Windowboxed, while I've seen my friend have his game stretched to fit his monitor.. his was a fullscreen monitor, mine is widescreen... is there anything I can do to fix this? I'm running vista, btw.

Thanks for the help.

Probably not a lot of people have vista and a widescreen monitor...  sorry I dont have either.  Someone with vista knowledge may know how to make it run full screen or run maximized or something.

Even though it's been past 60 days since I created this topic, I just wanted to let everyone know I had uninstalled FFVII and given up for it until last night, when it suddenly.... was full-screen out of the blue.... odd. Let's hope it stays that way. Thanks everyone for helping before (Trojax).  :-D

I'm running it on a widescreen laptop (Vista) and I believe it's just in the config isn't it?  :?
You know, that option that asks you whether or not you want it in full screen?....

......The other option being WINDOWED.

Your graphics card has an option of forcing full screen apps to run in their original size. See if you can turn that setting off.
