:( Sephiroth Problem :( (Resolved)

 Hi all, I also posted this in Tech Support because i wasn't sure which place was appropriate, so i decided why not do both  .

I'm new to Qhimm, So how is everybody? 

Now to my problem...

I installed the game, added the patches, i had a previous problem which i myself fixed, anyway i like i mentioned added the sephiroth patch, im gonna go through step by step what i did to make sure i did everything right .

1. I extracted the char.lpg files to char folder which i made
2. After extracting i ran the npc recon patch
3. I then ran the sephiroth patch
4. I made a new folder called Char.lpg, deleted my char folder, and renamed my old char.lpg char.bakup
5. I then opened battle.lpg using lpgtools by Ficedula(your a genius!), then I put the Saab file in the limit to work file to the opened lpg i got a update option, i clicked yes.
6. I ran the TXT patch

Now heres the problem, i run FF7.exe and all is well, i go to the option of New Game or Continue, theres a picture of sephiroth there, then the Intro starts, when it gets to the part where everyone gets off the train, the screen goes black, but you can hear sounds, then the message "Follow me newcomer", So i do and the first battle pops up, but sadly the battle figure is not sephiroth its cloud . The avatar is Sephiroth, and the character you move around with, and interact with others is Sephiroth. My friend is having the same problem, i have Vista 32 Bit.

Update: I tried extracting all my battle.lpg files to a folder i named BATTLE, then i put the saab file into BATTLE, clicked yes when it asked if i wanted to move and replace, i then used lpgtools to make a new battle.lpg and sadly this didnt fix the problem, does anybody know whats wrong ?? Come on your all intelligent individuals  .

Note: I tried to re-install the sephiroth patch, but i got the same error as before. Program/Squaresoft/FF7/data/field/char,aaaa.hrc unknown version, i tried 3 re-installs of the game saving the char file with the sephiroth updates(just in case), and encountered the same problem =\.

So it seems re-installing isnt the best idea, unless somebody knows why im getting the unknown version.

Update 2: My friend told me about Jenova, so i figured "Yes the solution to my problem!!!  ), sadly all it did was put the sephiroth thats controlled by the computer which just casts spells, and misses almost every time! However i noticed that the editor identified the people in my party as Cl, and Ba(Then again shouldn't it?) for what its worth, anyway the problem still remains...Sephiroth's character model fails to show up in battles, its kinda bugging the hell out of me considering ive put a good 5-6 into this and nada .

I rarely give up on things, and im about to pull the plug on this. If somebody could shed some light on whats wrong, please help me  .

I fixed the problem on my own. Thank you all who took the time to read my problem. The problem was my char.lpg folder, apparently it was incomplete.
