FF7: Battle Points (save editing)

Longtime (years) lurker, first time registered/posting.

I've checked Jenova and couldn't find what I was looking for...

Is there any save game editor that can edit how many Battle Points (from Battle Square) you have? Jenova does GP only it seems...

Yeah, I could just use Jenova to give myself whatever items/materia I could buy with the BP, but that's not the point.

If you have memory editor/trainer like TSearch or ArtMoney, you can check BP change and edit it.  Even if you have save editor that can edit BP, it will be reset to 0 once you step out of Battle square, so save editor may be useless.

**I once try to make a trainer for FF7PC 1.02(not 1.00) with Game Trainer Studio.  Though it's not perfect, if you want it, I can share it.

...ok, very stupid thing to make a first post about. Yes, BP is reset when you leave the battle square, duh.  So no BP editing unless it's "real-tme", as Landarma mentioned.

Sigh. Moving on...

You could always try using a save anywhere cheat and save in the battle square, then edit that save so you have as many battle points as you want next time you load it?

Doubt it would save that value, since it's temporary!

Here's my trainer for FF7 PC 1.02: Download
Originally I made a trainer for testing purpose(I think I used Trainer Maker Kit), but it was lost.  So I built another trainer with Game Trainer Studio.  I'm not sure about TV broadcast rating address(since I did it only once), but rest of them will work.

**Oh, and don't try to check my homepage.  It's virtually defunct now.

I do not use Vista, so I wouldn't know.  But try with any memory scanner/editor/trainer like Memory Hacking Software or ArtMoney, if it can run on Vista.  Search the address of changing value.
