Installation problem in FF8

  When I install, nothing happens.
I've try run in compatible mode and run as admin but won't work.
  My computer is XP pack 3 and directX version 9.0c.
I want to know how to solve this problem.
 When i install, task manager in tab process has SETUP.EXE so there is process but why nothing happens
If i click install 5 times it has 5 SETUP.EXE process


Now, I'd fix it out.

The way to get round this is just to wait.

Or, if you don't have many many hours to kill, start in safe mode, install it there, then launch back into regular mode. Same thing happened to me on vista.
