the battle swords for Cloud are rtck to rtcz.

however, if you want to make a custom one, use a dummy .hrc file for you to make the sword itself.

for example...

take aaaa.hrc (with aafe.a) and put every file for it in a folder called 'new weapons'.

Then, use Kimera 0.81 (safest one to use as all of the newer ones are much more likely to crash your game when you're making it.)

Open the 'new weapons' hrc with kimera 0.81.

then, find allll the parts you want to use to make the new weapon.

let's use a example I did...

To make this, I used...

Mover (gem), Heaven's Cloud (blades) Masamura (hilt, handle, gem 'case')

Now...

I deleted everything on Heaven's Cloud apart from the blade and saved it as a file i could recognize.

then, i did the same with the other parts (deleting everything, save for what I needed and saved them as individual parts)

then, we compile them on the dummy .hrc in the new weapons folder.

(This can take forever if you have a 'complicated' design in mind, but sometimes, it takes virtually no time at all.)

Bear in mind that until you're finished the new sword, DO NOT say yes to merging all the parts together.

once you're satisfied with how it looks, save it, and say yes to the second box, which merges it as a single file.

After that, we need to make sure it fits size wise on Cloud.

Take any of Cloud's weapons (good size ones to use are the Enhanced sword and Buster Sword) and make it the same length as the other weapon for Cloud. (keeping it in proportion mind)

However, it is also recommended to resize the weapons for final size comparison to 50% on the resize scales, that way you can easily see if its the same size or not.

Once that's done, save the final sword whatever name you think is appropiate, and be sure to increase the size by whatever you decreased it to for the size comparison.

Then, your new sword is done!

(victory fanfare plays)

Now, to make the sword be on Cloud's back in the field...

you just go into any of cloud's hrc files, and click his chest and go to 'add part to file' and choose any of his weapons from rtck to rtcz, and resize and rotate it as you see fit.

Although, AC's cloud is textured, which does complicate it slightly, which I won't go into. :P

I'm a little experienced in a few areas of FF7 modding, if anyone want a tut that isn't made or at least some tips on how to do something, just send me a PM or something and I might know how to do it.

Recently, I also started to properly change flevel details, and it took me absolute ages to even get Meteor to work the way I wanted it to, so i could try to give some pointers if anyone wants them.
