If it were possible? UDK FF7?

Would you play a FF7 made using the Unreal Developer Kit?

Not mine but when I was looking up UDK stuff last night I spotted above video. Not a game, more machinima. But still popped the idea in my head.

I don't care what engine the game is made using, as long as the story and mechanics are kept intact.

As for that video, I don't think that does a good job showing off UDK. Maybe if the models were better.

Same here. I have no idea how the materia system would be made. I know turn by turn combat could be done though.

Yeah I didn't make that video obviously. I mostly think of it as a buggy teaser. I'm trying to teach myself to use UDK on an old computer not made for it. That is until I get a new computer that can handle it. I have to say, for as old as my Acer Extensa 4420 laptop is, it can do quite alot.
