I am running it in compatability mode 95 on vista. But it still wont work. I am starting to think that my friend gave me a broken game cause the FMVs wont play.

The game wasn't made for windows 95 (It was >.<), So why would that be your choice in compatibility mode? XP should run it fine. SP2 or 3 would probably be best. Always works for me  :D

Edit: I'm wrong. Don't listen to the nonsense constantly spewing out of my mouth! >.<

ok your running vista right ? first disable UAC if its enabled and reinstall the game if required (since if UAC is enabled it may have left some game files in the virtual store folder so i recommend reinstalling),
then install Aali's Custom driver 0.7.8 and that should fix the problem with the movies (the reason the movies are not playing is most likley because you dont have truemotion codec installed but Aali's driver eliminates the need for it) or if you dont want to use Aali's driver just install the true moition codec and that should hopefully fix the problem with the movies.

I'll say what I've always said: the most elegant way of dealing with FFVII on PC is simply to run it via a virtual machine.

I want to thank you all for putting up with me, and I forgot to add it here but i am now able to play the game. Using the PRP,Team Av, FFmusic, Aali's custom, and the apz freak cloud. Until a new or better one comes out.

-looking forward to a Dress Cloud/girl cloud battle model xD-

I think APZ cloud model is still in the Remix patch. Probably won't be for long.
