Anyone have watched Chronicle (released in 2012)? I just watched it and it was such an amazing production but I haven't heard any announcement in my country's movie theaters...

I've seen it. I thought it was a very cool adaption of a typical super hero/powers movie. I didn't know they were working on a second one already. That's pretty cool. Although, I just saw an advanced screening of The Avengers last night. Holy crap. Probably the best super hero movie to come out by far! Go see it when it comes out!

I was about to for tomorrow but my friends sold me for a winning double premier ticket and now I need to find someone else. I'm going by myself in the worst case, I really wanted to watch this movie.

~edit~ I watched it... kicked some arse:P Waiting for the second part now (probably after Spiderman reboot). I wish they include more marvel heroes too

When I was at the theater there were some people dressed up. From the movie I saw Loki, Captain America (america, f*ck ya!), Black Widow, and Nick Fury. Then some Marvel people not in the movie; Wolverine, Storm, Gambit, Spider-Man, Phoenix. I yelled over at Wolverine "Hey Logan! WTF are the X-Men doing here?!" We laughed, it was pretty funny.

Chronicle? I saw it. If I'm being honest, the whole cinema laughed at certain parts that weren't supposed to be funny, and half of them left because of various bits of awful.

The premise is cool, I actually liked a lot of it, but it got a bit too stupid in certain parts. It was really the directors fault because bits of story should have been set up in the opening 20 minutes and instead you have random plot elements that introduce themselves towards the end.

I thought it was meh. I'm incredibly shocked to find out they're making a sequel.

The fact that certain people left isn't quite a valid proof of right judgement for the movie in my opinion neither confirms nor disproves the quality of the movie. I thought it was a really innovative idea to put a friendly atmosphere with a more realistic feeling to a super hero movie. Reminded me of rec a bit for its documentary style. Loved the fact that it showed how too much power can evolve into self catastrophe into the hands of a wounded heart (please don't laugh at my poetic comment ). So I'd love to watch this style of movies evolve.
