I believe this is pointless since there is Aeris patch but has anyone tried this? If yes is it working?

Can't watch it but I'm 150% sure it's a fake. Well, it *could* be true, as there is still room for possibility.

All you'd really have to do is use Black Chocobo and give yourself a gold chocobo to verify the video

I actually would not bother to do so. It is a fake, I am sure. And if it is not, then I shall not bear my name.

It's probably right. Without the Date scene Aeris wouldn't be locked in your team, and without the Temple she won't be removed for PHS.

Much as i'd rather cloud end up with aeris happily ever after, i think the story becomes completely lost without her journey with the team to the temple and her eventual death. Before playing it properly on pc, i never got beyond a certain point on my PS so many years ago. But once i got serious and got to the part where she dies, I can easily understand why wikipedia said that at the time, it was known as one of the most shocking moments in video game history. Sad, disappointing to the optimist, yes. But it truly was epic and gave the story a huge boost that couldn't help but spur me on to finish the game with a good relationship points with Tifa[which leads to the possible implication of their doing "it" on the night before they journeyed to the northern cave with everyone else]....if someone want's to know what i'm talking about, check out the forums. That thread was started by someone else somewhere.....

But point is i don see the point in "resurrecting" aeris and playing. She wont have any lines or roles post the death scene anyway.

I don't have Saga Frontier to test this out unfortunately, but it really does seem like it would work, maybe even on PS. Switching out the disc glitches out the game and it will only render the places it has already loaded, and since not much water was loaded upon removing the disc, it didn't load any to get in his way so he was able to traverse the ocean with no problem, getting to wherever he wanted to go. So he could have gone so far as to go to Icicle village and completely skip a bunch of the story if he wanted to, and that's all this really did was skip the part of the story where Aerith leaves the party.

All you'd really have to do is use Black Chocobo and give yourself a gold chocobo to verify the video

That is also completely correct since that would also by pass much of the story using the gold chocobo, which is why you aren't able to raise chocobo's until after this point in the game so something like this couldn't happen.
