I fixed the problem. I think this is a good time to report a bug (at least that is how it appears to me): Basically, say you ran the bootleg config without doing a clean wipe of the registry, it won't run the full-screen hack properly- at least it would not for me.
To solve the problem I had to completely uninstall, and then remove the registry afterwards. I tried virtually every other combination of solutions; however, the only solution that worked was the one where I removed the registry entries.
