Error when Clicking Launch

I have been trying to get my  game to load up and work for hours now.

I have read the FAQ, my  problem is NOT bad addresses, they are all correct.

My problem is NOT fixed by changing the compatibility or setting it to run as admin.

This is the error message I get on load up:

I have tried over and over to figure out what is going on.

I test it with only 1 mod running and it doesn't work.

Everyone I've seen who has this specific error ( with the number 1142 in it) has never had an answer given.

You're cutting off the very top of the error message... at the end of it should be "Code: __" which is almost certainly "Code: 5".  If so, you need to set the "Run in 640x480" compatibility flag on ff7.exe (or possibly ff7_bc.exe if you're running the Reunion mod)

There is no Code: __ at the end though?

Literally what I posted is the ENTIRE code error I get, nothing else. And I tried running with compatibility on, and as I stated above, it still does not work and I still get this error.

I tested it with only enabling one mod, even hitting "Launch Game" with NO mods enabled, causes it to crash giving this error.

I tried a fresh install of the game, and everything else, now this time when I go to hit activate I got this error:

You are most certainly not running an up-to-date version of 7H. The copy you have is missing critical files based on your error messages as well.  Be sure you are getting a current supported version from EQ2Alyza's tutorial on these forums, extract the entire zip file to a folder, then run 7thHeaven.exe. You cannot just run 7thHeaven.exe from within the zip file (aka compressed folder).
