Help w/ motorcycle race

Ok, so i tried browsing through the forum about the motorcycle race speed thing, i'm experiencing this problem myself and i can't move on in the game. But i didnt seem to understand so much of it, so could anyone please just tell me in an non-advanced way what to do to make it work?
I just really wanna get on with the game..


My system specs
Geforce 2 GTS
AMD XP 2500+
DirectX 9.0b

Tell me if you need more specs.. I would really appreciate help as i'm very eager to get on with the game

Currently, there's no known reliable way to get the motorcycle race to slow down.  Just do the best you can to have some health left at the end, and you'll be able to beat the boss... I did it with my Athlon XP 2400+/GeForce4Ti without too much trouble.

If you have a copy of PSX version of FFVII (With ePSXe):

1. Back-up the saved-game(s)
2. Convert FFVII PC saved-game(s) to ePSXe format
3. ...the motorcycle race & etc.
4. Convert back to PC format

Other way is to give here your savegame file and let someone of us to play through the race. Bad thing is that you will miss some story after the end of the track and the boss.
