To watch or not to watch, that is the question. Guys, i have a problem with viewing of the last movie of Final Fantasy VIII. When I watch it, it crashes in the same moment each time (when Rinoa finds Squall). Error of RAD Video ? It can be possible, but this problem is connected with only one movie. That's weird ...

Well, you haven't given very much info, so keep that in mind that we can’t necessarily get very close to the problem if we don’t know much about it. Still, that sounds suspiciously to me like a disk problem. If you’re viewing the movies off the disc, then I’d bet a lot that you have a dirty or scratched disc. I once had a similar problem with FF7. The first time I beat it, my best character was at level 50. It took me 2 tries and about 3 hours to beat the last 2 bosses, and then the game froze about 1 minute into that really long video at the end. So I tried browsing to the movies’ folder and watching it again, but it hung again in almost the same spot. Next I looked at my disc and realized it was dirty. Once I cleaned it, I watched the movie over again and everything was fine. Now, my disc 1 has developed a scratch, and 2 certain movies always freeze at specific times while they’re playing and lock-up FF7. So, yeah, that’s my gut inclination as to what’s going on.
If the disc seems fine, or maybe even if it doesn’t my suggestion is that, if you have a friend you can take advantage of, try to view the movie in question on his/her computer. If that’s not the problem, we’ll probably need some more info from you (system specs, OS, DirectX version, 3D card, sound device, etc.).

Well, thanx ... But it's true about the lack of info i've given you. This problem is serious for me. 'cause i have the same error viewing this movie using RAD Video Tools after extracting to hard drive... Strange, really ... But this problem can be the curse.. I have tested this thing in different OS - Windows 98/ME/2000!!! It can be the defect of my CPU 'cause i've changed all parts of my configuration except processor! Thanks for ñollaboration!
