Hey, This is my first post here, if you don't count replying. I'm a little stuck with NPC/Reunion patch. I only found out about these about a week ago. And I have had allot of trouble trying to get either of them to work. I've downloaded every program, every version of every program, bought a brand new copy of final fantasy VII for Pc, installed it over fifty times, followed tutorials precisely, used their methods to try and get them to work, tried every method in every order of steps, tried my own methods, and researched into every problem that these patches have encountered. I still can't seem to get anything to work. All I want is Final Fantasy VII with the field models replaced with battle models, I'm starting to go crazy!
If it helps the latest problem I have had is "Failed to load ACFE.aki". I have tried Deleting my current "char.lgp" and "world_us.lgp" and getting fresh versions off of the CD. Installing the patch and trying it again, which is a solution zero88 posted. I have tried the LPG-file fixer which was hard to use, followed the tutorial and did'nt work anyway. I tried downloading other peoples ACFE.aki files that were posted when another person had my error but it did'nt work. Any ideas? Much appreciated.
Maybe somebody could post their char.lpg file for download with the NPC installed?
