My game is crashing in Don Corneo's mansion at the point when he decides who will be his bride. Basically, the dialogue goes through to "and I'll choose.." and when the next text window pops up, it's blank. At this point the music stops after a few seconds, and the game stops responding. There's no error message or anything else.

Anyone here that can help? I'm using a legit copy, since I'm sure someone will ask that...

can u provide your system specs and what version of the game you are running etc.

Well, actually, it turns out that the fourth time I loaded the scene, it magically decided not to lock up. So I guess further remediation isn't necessary.

I know you got past it, but could you list what patches you are using?

Running in compatibility mode?
Version 1.02?
High res?
battle->field conversion?
music patches of any kind?

I was using 1.02, the multipatch, the latest hi-res from saint, and the Reunion. As for compatibility, yes, I tried that...not sure if it ended up making a difference or not, though.
