after some thorough research on the FMV crashing, scratched disk, cant skip fmvs, etc. this is the only solution for me right now

can someone please play to the next save point please? i'm at the bottom of the communications tower, being chased by the robot.

it always crashes (in hi res) at where squall jumps towards the boat and (in low res) after quistis shoots the hell out of the robot.

if anyone can, i'll email you the save file.

1. Don't double-post. This place is slow, be patient.
2. You may have better luck if you upload your save file somewhere and post a link.

I'd be glad to help you out as long as you have the us version. I'm not sure if that makes a difference. Any either link your save file or email it to me and I'll do it when I get off work tonight at 11pm. This is first time for me as I am new here. And where are you allowed to link files?

You can link to a file anywhere. If you need to upload something small and don't have your own web space, you can use Mirex's trashbin. http://bin.mypage.sk/

Here you go James,(emailed back your next save point)

Here what you missed. After you sailed back to Balamb and get off the ship. Ziefer's buddies greet him and they took off in the car, so you have to walk back to Garden. Your're free to rome the town. I saved you in the Towns Hotel. Look closely at the table by the save point, there's something there for you to pick up. Need any more save points, email me. Enjoy. Good series of Final Fantasy besides 7.
