Well having played with Cosmo, Gast, J_Birth
and Eight
I believe I have understand some things about the game structure..
Tex, files are texture files but what image program is possible to extract it?
And using Cosmo and GAst, background images can be gotten from it..but how do u extract it into a picture format???
It would be faster then for me to Press Print Screen and crop out the screenshots...
and save it...
..and FF8 does not have such a program to view textures??
By decompiling the files, the tex should be able to found right?...
just some suggestions..

Please don't resurrect old topics. :-?

That being said, I guess that this is a new record?

Don't resurrect old topics. When people stop posting in a topic, it's usually a sign that everything of value has been said. Thus, if nobody's posted in a topic for more than a week or two, consider it dead and don't post in it (unless you have an important follow-up or question exactly on-topic, and the topic is still recent). If you post just a comment on something somebody said ... chances are no-one will care because it's been a while since everything was posted.

It's not silly and it's not necessary that you understand why. You just need to follow the rules.

I'm giving you a warning for this.
