Game crashes on startup

Hey ppl,
I reinstalled FF7 just now after a long time but somehow it doesnt work.
A few months ago it worked, so i have no idea why it doesnt.
I installed the game and then the 1.02 patch. Ive got a nVidia graphik card, so i used the TNT Box and startet the game, but i only heard the eidos sound and then nothing happend. I read the FAQ again and there was something about FFDshow etc.
I turned off the true motion support and tried again, but now the screen becomes black for a second and then Im back on the desktop. I dont know what to do now...
I installed the latest nvidia driver but nothing changed...

Well you do need the true motion codec enabled to play the movies.  If you are using K-Lite codec pack, disable it from the config menu and install the seperate codec download from the forum, works for me.
