Well, I want to try my hand at modding enemy models, but I don't know how or what program to use. Could someone possible give me a link to a good program to use, and maybe a tutorial on how to use it?

Blender is free to use. Google it to find the website. While you are at it google blender tutorials, there are many great guides out there. Also Timu_Sumisu has made a tutorial video, you can do a search on here to find it.
