It's not compatible if you checked the box for 9999 Limit Break for the MO options. Since your game doesn't play with it now, you must not have checked it. Using the Bootloader option will be fine  :)

But won't it corrupt or damage the game I'm using at the moment? I'm kinda scared I'm gonna screw something up :(

WTH?!?

BOOOOO SegaChief BOOOO!!!

You used L4 Suicide on the Trio, I'm disappointed LOL!  :-D

EQ2 had over 10K of life and could deal over 10K of damage! I didn't to that with my Mod, not sure if I knew how :(

What can I say? I found an inherent weakness in them and I took advantage of it. :p

I'd recommend trying to get that break damage mod applied, Jon. The last few bosses and the Weapons aren't really designed for 9999HP teams because of their defence-ignoring moves; you'll often be getting hit for 9999 damage, even through Barrier if it's a critical hit (and a critical hit cancels out a 'Lucky Dodge' so having maxed Luck for evasion can only help so much). That said, it's not impossible to beat them without it but it'll be no picnic.

It won't corrupt your save. It's just an injection of a .dll file. You can always copy your save folder to another location if you're that worried.

Ok guys I'm gonna save that folder elsewhere, how exactly do I do it?

Do I click the Break 9999 option and run the Bootleg? Safest way to do it?

Took me a bunch of tries to get this working and I'm if I mess this up I gotta run it all again and it takes a lot of time :(

This game went from hard, to completely insane.

I cannot beat Diamond Weapon, besides the Summons and Comet not else really does a lot of damage to it, I cannot sense it and when he hits his Diamond Flash he hits Cloud with 9999hp, paralyzes everyone even though they have Ribbon.

I thought I got to the Sunken Plane before I gave it another chance and I fought Reno & Rude, they hit HARD but I manage to defeat them, but then, oh baby then I met the monster that you fight when you pick up Hades.

Seriously.

I don't want help because that's for me to figure it out but, still waiting for anyone to show me the proper way to apply the Break 9999 mod, I don't dare do it by myself thinking I might corrupt something.

Have you not already installed mods using Bootleg?

If you have, you just open FF7 Bootloader and click the Configure button. Check the box for the 9999 Limit Break and click the blue button called Write CFG to save it. It's just an injection, so don't worry about it "corrupting" your saved game. You can just as easily turn it off by unchecking the box and clicking Write CFG again.

I did it, but the Menu while fighting looks messed up, I know it says disable when using Menu Overhaul but how to fix this problem without having to run the hole thing again?

P.S Graphics looked crappy once again also, took a creen shot but it was black when I pasted on Paint :(

That screenshot would have helped a lot  :-\ "Graphics" applies to many different things, but I assume you just mean the menus. Does it look like this?

The Bootloader option is meant for installs without MO, so it is because MO is installed. You can run Bootleg again to add it into MO. The BFE will load the last used mods you selected, so all that needs to be done is to check the 9999 Limit Break box in the Installation tab. Everything else will be reinstalled as it is now and won't mess up the game.

If you want to speed up the install, you can also choose all the "No Change" options in the drop-down menus. This option won't reinstall anything, but instead skip over it and preserve whatever is currently installed.

Not sure why it's doing that because I play Minmim avatars also. Trying downloading them and placing in the .../mods/Bootleg/menu folder.

After applying the patch of Break 9999 and giving it some thought, I decided to start a leveling process that might take a while, I'm gonna level up some materia because they way things are now, it isn't debatable that I'm gonna have a hard time with the present monsters I gotta face.

All I'm asking is where is the best place to do so? And if there are something I should do before I continue forward with the story.

I read somewhere that the blue worms on the beach of Mideel are a good option, I'm staying there for the moment unless someone advices a better place for it.

 :x

I also did the blue worms on Mideel beach until I had access to Northern Crater.

I see, I was there for a couple of hours and did some new HP Plus materias :)

That damn Malboro from hell is unbeatable, I'm gonna go for Diamond Weapon first.

Well its been awhile since I last updated but a lot has happened.

I'm on disc 4, doing the chocobo madre now, I finally got the Female Mountain chocobo after resetting the game for the 920856265629563 time. Every single time I got a Male one and my Blue chocobo is a Male one so that should explain it.

I already did Ancient Forest.
Scouted the Crater.
Got mostly all of the finals weapons though I still haven't done anything in the Battle Square.

I'm at the Wutai boss, thought he was easy at first but when I got to his final form(hopefully) he blasted me away, I'll try it again very soon  :x
