I Need Help For A MMORPG

My friend and I have a great idea to make a MMORPG simillar to Final Fantasy 7. We have almost everything planned, there is only one problem. We need  more help, we only have a group of 7 members. Making an online version of FF7 would suck, but making an MMORPG similar in style and stuff would be awesome.  Good luck, it takes a shitload of time and dedication to make an MMORPG.  I'm in a game programming club, and our goal is to make an Online game, and we started planning and designing the game some months ago and we still can't get anything started in the development phase.  Only a few people know how to make 3D models, the rest of us are code monkeys.

Plus, projects like that would be better if you knew the team members and you actually lived close to them.  That is, if you want to get something done in less than 3 years *coughff7remakecough*

It's kind of funny because I saw more people posting their messages by calling him (I quote) a marxist motherfucker other than a genius. So I'm not to sure if other people think it's the best idea, anyways it's always fun to have some competition.

Yeah, well, some people like to go to the extremes.  His idea wasn't offensive, but it sure isn't appealing.  FF7 has a story, and making it an MMORPG would make it steer off the story.  But having an MMORPG with similar style (as in the dark theme, limit breaks, characters, music, and so on) would be nice.

Yeah I agree with you if you made an online version of final fantasy 7 things would get to confusing and hectic. That's why were making a game that contains paralell features of those of ff7 (i.e. limit breaks, materia, music will be similar, and the same kind of battle system which is active time). Yo, I'm the other person who is involved in this MMORPG. And yeah, I saw that FF7Online MMORPG, because really that would suck, because everyone would have to follow the same storyline, but some people would be farther ahead than others. And Enigma, why didn't you mention my email in the original post of yours? Bah, who cares...
Anyways, our MMORPG doesn't really have a storyline, but is similar to FF7, because we thought as you did (vvalentine I believe) that it would be awesome.
