[FF7PC][FF7_SYW_Unified] 1.16 (2025/10/17) - PC installer + Steam deck + iros

Hey everyone!  Having a bit of trouble with the new update.  Apologies if some of these issues have already been covered.

1) Despite backing up and replacing the old save game, the game is not registering that I have a saved game to “continue.”
2) The game is not booting up in full screen.  This was not an issue with 1.15.
3) French language, instead of English

Thanks for all you all do.  This mod pack is incredible!

I'm having difficulty installing the 1.16 Unified mod (WIN 11). At about 10% as it's unpacking .ogg sound files it get's stuck and hangs there for hours. It doesn't indicate the the process has stopped responding in Task Manager. At first I had it on my larger hard drive and installing to one of my SSDs, so I thought perhaps it wants to just install to the same disk, so I moved the installer to the SSD but I'm seeing the same behaviour. It looks like it's a different file every time but it gets to about the same point in the unpacking process before hanging. Any potential thoughts as for what I can do to troubleshoot?

EDIT: Attempting to unpack on a separate system. It's getting a bit further along but seeing the same thing where it just hangs and gives up. I am using the 7th Rocks mirror, as the MEGA link is requiring me to sign up to a sub to download the data.
