Places on Earth that remind you of FF7 and FF8

Hey,

    I was always thinknig of this question, but i never knew who to ask.  This is a stupid question, but, is there any places on Earth that remind you or capture like the atmosphere of some places in ff7 and ff8?  I have a few: 1)green country-side(when you are on top of the train) that reminds me of some places in Richmond virginia, 2)balamb garden kinda reminds me of the university of richmond, 3)dollet reminds me of disney world(if you ever been there, im talking about the lake and theres the contemporary, polynesian and grand floridian resorts around it, the magic kingdom is also right near it).  Any other ideas, post em here.

Hmmmm...I'm only about an hour west of Richmond-Yeah, I can see it, kinda in the low, rolling hills of central va...Only been to U of R once, so didn't really see enough to make any connections there-Oh, I had been partaking of some "adult beverages" as well, so that may not help the memories of the place.

Lol, and I think the Costa Del Sol in FF7 could be similar to the....let's see....Costa Del Sol?

the mountains around nibelheim remind me of the rockies.

Oh and space reminds me of space from FF8 as well!
