You can try it in quarter screen, and see it will pass it. If not...then your going to have to make a link to your save file...or get someone to pass it for you. Which won't be that easy being that the next save point is about 10 mintutes away.
It's probably a driver confict of some sort that's causing the crash. That crash is a common crash, but no one has found a real solution. YOu can try changing video drivers.... you can try changing Sound Acceleration to Basic. (type dxdiag and go to the sound tab). But so far the only thing that truely works is to get someone to get past it for you...
Or you can try buying a new PC...or formatting the one you have, now.
