Bugs in Streammovies (in game, no synthesis movies)

Hi !
I am french and so i will be careful with my bad english. I am sorry.

I want to play again FF7 on my computer but before i had a geforce 2ti on W98 and all was good.

Now i am on Xp and i have a 6800 Gt and problems begin.

When i install the game, i have the 8 bit fails so i apply patch 1.02 with the two files.
I check nvidia and tnt.

But after the first movie (prelude of midgar) my screen will come black and when the first battle begins all is good. Moreover when i make presentation with barett and we see the view up to the reactor, clad become too small and is in air.

I would that all was fine because text are smooth, textures quite good and i will test ANIS et AA later.

Thanks for your help as i try a lot of patch (xp patch... xp patch 1.4 etc...)

That is odd because I have the same card and do not have those problems.

Anyway, did you try updating your video card drivers?

I am playing with 76.44 XG (modded).

But it's useless now... I reassembled an old computer. PIII 800 256 sdram and geforce 2ti and he roxxs on FF7 !

With the same drivers he passed 8 bits paletts, hardware acceleration !
I made aa x4 et anistropic filtering on x2 and all rulez ! Nice game !

Just two problems :
- Videos have distortion on black as they have compression but on my "big" computer i haven't distortion on black
- Moto game is too fast... i have to launch antivirus analyze to slow it.

It's my 6th game with FF7 and th way i will take is : Cloud/Red XIII/ Vincet or Tifa because i like couple Tifa/Cloud  :love:

I don't think that the XG Software Synthesizer drivers work on Windows XP. Switch the midi device to the Microsoft Synthesizer.

Also, you can slow down the bike game by enableing VSync.

XG is a team who mods graphics drivers !  

I have a soundblaster live 5.1 on this computer only for Final Fantasy 7  :love: Thanks for the hint !

I played 2 hours this afternoon. I love dialogs when we go to shinra stairs between cloud, barett and tifa and also the dialogs between red XIII/Nanaki and Barett " You are so Boring "  :love:
