Recently, I purchased and installed FFVII for my PC. XP is my OS though I do not know of how to check for the other information I've seen other users post on here about their computers.
I loaded the game and have been enjoying it immensely until today when it freaked out while trying to load the Chocobo Race. I did download the related patch for this issue, reloaded the game, picked up from my last save point only to have the game crash while I was running across the map to get back to Dyne.
I did not think it relevant to download the battle patch as I have yet to have that happen.. I was on the map when it crashed.
Anyone have any ideas as to why this happened? AND how I go about repairing the problem (if at all possible)??
I just want to play the game - which means mainly getting past the chocobo part... hopefully that patch I installed worked...
