Saints Hi-Res patch crash!

OK... i couldn't get this patch to work for awhile.. i mean it works great when i play in administrator, but when i play as administrator (I'm using vista.. and compatibility mode for windows 98 )  the high resolution works fine, but i lose the good looking character models... they go back to the 1997 block models..

But when i play it off of administrator... the character models are fine but when i enter a battle the game goes to the dreaded black screen and glitches out... I don't know if its the spinning screen glitch... i cant figure out how to work that patch.... Or what...

My system specs are:

Processor: Intel(R)Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz  2.39 Ghz

Memory(ram): 2.00 GB
 
System Type: 32-bit operating system

There are still some kinks to be worked out, but Aali has done a great job with it and is constantly updating it.  Check it out, maybe it will help.  Then again running Vista is also ill-advised

Try again with the latest version (0.4b), it was probably the triple buffering issue. (And next time, provide more information so we don't have to do this guessing game, "glitch out" is not exactly an accurate description of your problem)

Ok.. i used the hi-res patch thing by Aali and it didnt work... like when i click exe.. icon i get this black screen and it drops me back to windows....

*feels really dumb* i don't care if you criticize me but what is  APP.LOG???



*add on* and i found out that unless i play it as administrator in any version of the game (even before and after the 1.02 patch and Reunion patch) that i lag out and the game goes to the black screen and drops me to the desktop.... when i enter a battle i mean... other wise the game runs fine...
