yes the .p files

so if u open the .hrc of rufus and double click on his head it will tell u in the top left corner what this .p file is called
copy and paste this file to ur desktop or whereva then open clouds .hrc find out what the .p file is called for his head and then rename the .p of rufus's head to the same name as clouds head then put this file back into ur battle.lgp and copy and replace.. then do this for all of there parts

i don't know what 'ARMs' is going on about , this is hard, a lot harder than the original,,,,
trust me u will have so much more fun playing this mod than u might think, it puts a totally different perspective on the game

i would much rather have this than Rufus..............



as u can see ive placed clouds hands further apart
and i have made the sword quite a bit bigger as i prefer the look



this is the 'APZ' cloud wielding the 'Millenia' buster sword

all i have to say is well done APZ freak and millenia on there fantastic work, keep it up guys

cool well it looks like u know what ur doing really....
basically every model has different parts like there head , torso, waist, etc
find out what these individual files are called for rufus and then replace the same corisponding file for cloud ..simple
then just reposition the parts to the right place

emokid i don't think u understand what Kudistos Megistos is saying...

all the different battle models in the game have different animations, which would be how they attack with there weapon, wield there weapon, use magics, use items, and other things. these are all separate animations for each character.

now.....there is only one fight in the game when u fight Rufus. and all he does is attack, (i believe).. so the only animations that rufus is gonna have are his standing animation and his attacking animation,

so if u replace cloud with Rufus, whats gonna happen if u use, a magic, a summon,use a command like d.blow or steal,or even use ur normal attack, cause obviously Rufus has a gun not a sword.... .ur Rufus that u replaced for cloud isn't going to have these animations and will f**k up basically,


i would suggest not changing cloud for Rufus

it has to be something in ur battle.lgp if it freezes just before a battle....
i would suggest u reinstall everything except the higher quality cloud then see if it works......

urm.. no
if u replaced it for the nailbat, it would have the same stats, and slots as the nailbat, it will still be called the nailbat also,,,
u need to edit the 'kernel' files to change the names and stats of the weapons

so in my ver1.1 ive edited the kernel so the ultima weapon is called the masamune and the stats are the same as the original masamune
 :-)

edit: as i said before download 'wallmarket' and u can edit this urself

yea , well .......... all of clouds weapons are named from 'rtck'-'rtcz' so if u would like to replace the masamune for something else just rename the 'rtcz' file you have downloaded with this mod
to one of these                  (!please note!: these are only the weapon 'models' u will need to edit the kernel file for any stat changes or to change the names of the weapons)

mythril saber (rtcl)
hard edge (rtcm)
butterfly edge (rtcn)
enhanced sword (rtco)
organics (rtcp)

ive just worked out how the buster is calculated...........

how many kills cloud has made / 128, + 10, + strength and attack stat, / by 16

which i found quite confusing...lol


if u would prefer, i could upload the buster sword, to go up by 10 per kill, calculated.......

10*how many kills cloud has made,

so at 999 kills u would do 9999 dmg, no matter what, and if u had the break dmg limit patch on, u could keep going

Ive stole MXster's cloud field model and have recoloured it ,,, i have talked to MX and asked if he could include my recoloured cloud into his chibi reconstruction mod....
he is unsure what people would make of this,,, and has declined,,,,.......................so.

i have posted an image and i would like the people (you) to vote wiether the mod should stay as is,
or include, my super-duper re-coloured cloud!



ive tryied to match the colours to the APZ cloud.... i think its pretty close......

when u replace the kernel files, if there is an option for 'compatibility files' make sure u replace these also
