I used Remako for a long time, and this blows it out of the water.
People keep posting this on just about every "Remako is teh pwnz0r!!" video out there, and yet....

I think the ultimate experience would be using all the graphical and game play mods from 7h, alongside the overhauled translation. At the moment thats not currently possible. Is there any way to get the translation to work with 7h?

Anybody know (or have a rough estimate) how large, in terms of disk, the wiki is?

If you use Draw > Cast, then the mechanic is working properly (you're sucking the magic out of the monster and using it immediately, but are limited to what the monster has available).  If you're doing just a plain Cast, then something's broken, as that pulls from your personal inventory.

Can movies be added?  Yes, by editing the field scripts
How to make them smaller?  Choose a different encoding scheme/wrapper, lower the resolution, use fewer fps, stuff like that.

Would guess a lot of people that arent into the remake decided to download 7th heaven and mods this past week.
That's exactly our suspicion... we've done some server tweaks and I'm bringing corneo (the torrent tracker) back online to help.

Achievements - No, those are Steam exclusive
Saves - You can pull Steam saves into FF7's ..\save folder and they'll Just Work(tm).  There's a process for doing it in reverse, but I've never bothered to learn since I own the original CD package
Graphics config - Do this in 7h's driver configuration drop-downs.  I believe the "windowed" mod you're referring to is actually the borderless mod, which isn't what you're looking for.

One of the SYW mods google drive link requires permission and most things wont download through 7H but it does look great! Also in the media and sound files have no actual mods in the folders. When you go to import it theyre all empty.
Empty mod folders are actually normal... 7H intercepts the game's request for an asset (sounds, textures, models, etc), looks down its list of active mods (from top to bottom, this is why load order matters!), and if it finds a match, unpacks it in memory and feeds the game a pointer to that address.  When it doesn't it sends back a pointer to what's in the original lgp file.

To answer the other part, I'm running on Win7 i7-7700K with GeForce GTX 750 Ti, drivers updated within the past month. Vanilla game with Post processing and AMD SmartBloomHDR shader (as that was recommended in a couple other threads)
Well, your hardware's pretty close to mine (GTX 960, Core i3-4somethingorother), and I'm not getting any frame artifacts.  The big difference is that I don't have any post processing enabled, and you're mixing an AMD shader with nVidia hardware.  Try turning that off, and if that doesn't help, check your vsync status (I think the default is 'on').

Is it possible for this mod to be compatible with The_Reunion framework? Perhaps approach DLPB if he's interested in some of these fixes? The Reunion mod tends to keep the game vanilla as possible too, so it would be nice to add some of these tweaks in there as well.
Except re-translating all the dialog and whatnot also requires extensive modification of the flevels, so integration with Reunion would entail the same level of headache as 7H, possibly even more.

1.  Can't speak to your particular situation, but others should be able to.  There's tons of stuff here and on discord relating to getting the DS4 controller working, most importantly running the driver and key mapper as admin.
2. That's just the way it is.
3. Can't say without knowing what mods you're using and what your hardware's like.
4. That's because there is no solution (yet).

117
ah if it does that then no.  It's not the purpose of R06 to do mods like that.

118
The old Game Converter you'd run before using 7H v1.5x, and 7H v2.0 both have the driver built in.  No need to add it separately.  Check your config and make sure direct mode is turned on.

You really need to be asking for help in DLPB's Reunion thread.  It seems like there's either some kind of setting that isn't being carried over after reinstallation, or an option you need to set in OPTIONS.INI (Reunion's new configuration tool).

So, according to what i've read here and there, the safest things to do to further avoid possible crashes are:

-Using upscales instead of retextures or anything that uses high-res textures.
-Avoid the use of Mipmaps, Post-processing, Linear filtering and Pixel buffer.
-Enable texture cache.

Maybe i'm missing something, but, am i right so far?
Yep.  I'm one of the ones who will be testing DDS once the driver and texture packs are ready, and believe me when I say we'll all be throwing a hell of a party if it works out the way we think it will :)

I have just finished the game and in the ending FMV all dialogue is in french. It's not a big deal for me because I have seen it countless times. But it is still a bit annoying and really bad for someone who might play it for the first time. Is there any way to fix this?
Use a movie mod that isn't in French?  Seriously, this isn't a 7H problem.

So... there's no way to fix it other than just getting a video card with more VRAM? Mine's a GTX 1060 3GB and although while lowering the texture quality and spells kinda helps it only delays the unavoidable crash when alll VRAM is consumed.
No, the VRAM has nothing to do with it.  Unab0mb's getting very annoyed with people who keep asking, and I can't blame him.  The graphics driver is limited by the game engine to a 32-bit address space, which *theoretically* means 4GB max, but comes to about 3GB in practice.  Throwing new hardware at it isn't going to make a lick of difference.  The Team Avalanche and Project Edge folks know about this and are trying to come up with band-aids while the driver's memory management is improved, but for now this is the best advice we can give you:
1.  Enable texture compression, and clear your cache any time there's an update to a graphics mod you're using.
2.  Don't go manually editing the config files and twisting knobs you don't understand.  We spent a lot of time trying to find the safest defaults (that's why things like PBO are default disabled)
3.  Save early, save often.

My god, you two are like an old married couple who refuse to get a divorce because you're afraid of what the neighbors will say.  Give it a rest already.

It's funny you should mention that.  When I started using "eh"  - especially for Leno, I was told it was a British thing or a Canadian thing - and not American... yet the original American translation uses it in FF7 as well.
It's probably something I pick up on because I have family not far from Hamilton, ON, and we laugh about how we'll just be talking normally, and sometimes almost half their sentences end with "eh."  For example, "This just doesn't seem right, eh?" or "We're taking the boat fishing next week, eh."  We Yanks will use it as well, but usually more as a shoulder shrugging, whatever vocalization.  And yes, aboot... we just love hearing "What's this all aboot, eh?"
