This might already be a thing and I'm just an idiot, but you know how when you edit a field the name is red until you save then it turns green, but when you reopen it's back to normal, is there a way to keep them highlighted? Or when exporting have it compare to an unedited version and only extract the feilds that where altered?

Yeah I thought I used that, but upon rechecking the default flevel it was used, so I guess I didn't put the right number in or maybe in my infinite wisdom I didn't even check(my money is on the latter).

If for example I wanted to use [15][03] on X map would it tell if it's used anywhere in game or just that map? From what you said it sounds like it'll tell me if it's used anywhere, but I just wanna double check.

I knew the variable I was using was temporary because I tried using it once before but I needed it on another screen and asked tsuna during a stream, if it's the entire banks then that helps a lot.

That worked, thanks, I swear I looked and it was empty originally, I guess not though.

Is there like a speardsheet of variables somewhere that state if they're usually free or not? And which ones are temporary and get reset when you exit the screen?

I added an option to equip the Restore at the beginning, it works as intended but for some reason the cursor jumps between yes and no at random(I've seen as little as 3 seconds and as long as a minute), I've looked at other choises in the game and I can't see anything that I might be missing and it doesn't happen elsewhere in the game, and it's not a dodgy controller as it happens with the controller turned off aswel.

I had the lines in Cloud Script 3 was thinking maybe it clashed with the play animation right before so added a wait for animation no change.
Moved the lines into the Materia again no change.

Short answer is no. Long answer is yes, but it would require a lot of code manipulation to the menu. Technically every materia that doesn't have a labeled type is a 'Hidden' type. So you'd probably only want magic and summon materia to display it. You'd have to add the text to a list then only display it if the materia is magic or summon types.

Ah okay, thanks, I'll just leave it then, I'm not that good.

Is there a way I could get 'Hidden' display in Materia menu like Fire, Ice, etc does?

One thing thats confusing me is the prices for materia like summons is 1 but the 'Materia AP price multiplier' says 70. Wouldn't that mean they should sell for AP*70?

When I try to load FF7.exe or SHOPMENU.MNU White Chocobo just closes anyone know how to fix this.

I found this after MUCH searching https://www.malavida.com/en/soft/visual-basic-power-packs/ which finally got it to open.

If the program isn't going to be updated, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to include depenencies in a download at this point.

Is it possible to increase how often 'Added Effect' goes off and change Chocobuckle to also multiply by level like in the original Japanese release? Or would I need something else like 'Materia Keeper'?

Is MonoMod available as it's own IRO? I don't really wanna have to reinstall the game everytime I wanna play something different or work on my own mod.

Moving from 7th Heaven board, not sure why I posted it there in the first place  :-[

A while ago I thought up what I felt would be a fun challenge, it just happened that death_unites_us got around to it first. Setting up a New Game save through Black Chocobo seems to have thrown the encounters out of whack, not a huge deal I know but it gave me the idea to make it a mod instead.

I might be misremembering but I could have sworn that when adding an item to the inventory you could use a drop down menu instead of putting in the number, that or there was somewhere to find what number was what item.

What do you mean by "only the name is correct"? And which version of FF7 are you using?
When I change Clouds name then reload the exe or the .dat file to an unchanged exe the change is what I made. The exe is 1.02, to be honest now that I think about it, I think it might be 7th Heaven screwing everything up, I can't even launch the game without going through it.

When loading an updated exe or the data file only the name is correct, the Curse Rings are Fairy Rings when first loading the exe then change to Earrings when I load the dat file in.

When Changing Window colour Top Right doesn't change and changes Bottom Right instead.
