I'm aware of absolutely no bugs like this at all... Honestly I think this thread is nothing but a bunch of bots talking to each other unless one of you can prove me wrong lol.

Aavock ESUI Theme needs to make the borders wider on the main menu because some of the menu names don't fit in the border lines.

I don't know what you mean. It looks fine to me.

I'm finding myself a little split on NT 2.0.

I LOVE 1.5; it's FF7, the game we love, but with improved combat and tons of great added content. Some of that content could have been implemented more elegantly, or went just a bit too far, but it successfully created "FF7, but with extremely engaging gameplay and tons of new bosses."

I don't feel like that statement is true in 2.0. Type A is essentially the base game with the bosses given an overhaul, but missing all the added content, and Type B is a rearranged (but not necessarily better) game with improved (but seemingly not quite as engaging) gameplay and some (but missing some of the very good) added content from 1.5.

I feel like these are all too different to be the same mod. Ultimately the best experience I've had with these mods was with 1.5; the Kaiju fight between the guard scorpion and the dragon was unbelievably cool, for instance. I feel as though many people will hear about this mod and play 2.0, as the latest update just feels obvious to use, and those people won't have as good an experience as they would have with 1.5.

Not to be massively critical to the guy who made my favorite mod ever, 2.0 is still good of course, but is there any way that 2.0 could be made a different project? 1.5 is New Threat; 2.0 should be New Path, New Vision, or something of that nature.

Sorry if I'm being too critical, I just wanted to give honest feedback while it's in my mind.

Well, that's why 1.5 is still available if you prefer it. It's not just gone and replaced.

Is there a way a disable the new battle sounds? I tried disabling everything except the step sounds but the battle sounds still sound wrong to me.

I'd really like to keep those nostalgic sounds and only add the step sounds to that.

There aren't any mods currently available that do that, but it is possible to do via hext. However, it wouldn't be as simple as just changing one value. There's a value for every instance this happens... so like one for the item menu, one for the PHS menu. Some menus have several instances at once, like shops - there's one for buying and one for selling. There's probably upwards of 50 or so addresses and finding them wouldn't be so easy if you don't know what you're doing... It's possible, just don't know if it's worth the trouble.

This is a result of the way the 98 version of the game (which the current stable 7H uses) treats the name screen. You're supposed to actually type it on a keyboard. Even if you're using a keyboard WASD instead of a controller, it will disable WASD and turn into a regular keyboard for these screens. and the enter key (and therefore the "OK" button on controller in your case) goes to the "Select" option...

Basically, you can either use the keyboard or update to 7H canary which now uses the Steam version instead of the 98 conversion version (the Steam version doesn't have this keyboard "feature")

If you do update, the canary (and the next stable for that matter) requires a fresh install for the same reason -  we've switched to the Steam version.

If your SFX get stuck like that, just go into 7h driver settings and hit restore to defaults.

HELP!!!! My game was working perfectly fine with my mod configuration until TODAY that ESUI pushed a new update! My beautiful, beautiful Ninostyle HD Tifa turned into this:






I haven't installed ANY other new mods and until the day before yesterday everything was normal! There were no update to ESUI then. But then today I updated and this happened! Can the mod creator help me please? What could have been in this update to interfere with the textures?

That is not because of ESUI. ESUI doesn't touch any models. The problem actually lies in Modder's Haven pack - specifically if you have MH's items turned on... In future make sure you turn off the mod you suspect is the culprit to make sure it's not something else first. You can then go down one by one until you find the offending mod so you can report to the right people.

Hey guy's I'm having a weird issue where if I turn off Cosmo Memory, I no longer have any SFX at all, Music yes but no additional SFX IE menu and battle sounds
But if I re-enable Cosmo Memory, I have the Cosmo Memory SFX.

Is there a setting or some issue I'm unaware of to get the Original SFX to work again?

So far I've tried:
Turn the mod off in 7th heaven and then uninstall it
Leaving the mod available but turned off
Changing the audio output in the ff7 config and windows
Changing the volume in the game menu
Setting to run though Centre SFX on / off then uninstalling
Checking Sound settings in windows

I've tried searching for a while now but haven't found any info thanks for any assistance

Hi dear, your cosmo memory mod is fabulous, I would like to ask you something, is it possible to restore only the sound of the limit break, because I like the original more, even if it is a separate mod that I can add without it conflicting with the mod itself, let me know.

I've been taking a bit of a break to play through Rebirth. Once I'm finished, I'm going to complete this ESUI theme project I've been working on, but once I'm finished with that I'm going back to CM and go through some sounds and try making some of the more iconic sounds more similar to their old sound. The limit break sound in particular is one that comes up often and I have a new replacement for it to give you an idea of what I'm trying to do with them.

retouch in 7th heaven is broken, not working! I tried install by 7th heaven and not work, with iro version works well, but says there's a update... when download update, broken again...

Another problem was with translation mods... the font broken accent (á, é, í, ó, ú, ã, õ, â, etc...) there's how to fix?
No idea what you're talking about. It works fine for me.
As far as foreign characters, you can't use dialogue avatars, field buttons or expanded icons with any language but English. Says it inside the mod options.

Sorry I wasn't clear. I want to use retouch's theme but I don't like the avatars that retouch uses. I actually figured out how to edit the textures and I'm trying to replace them. thanks!

You don't have to edit anything. You can use any main avatars you want.

Hello, I hope this is the right place to ask this:

I'm trying to get my ideal setup for enhanced stock UI but the issue is that I want to use the design from "Retouch" without the remake style avatars. I would like to use the brushtroke avatars from "finishing touch" ideally, but no matter how I configure these I get thrown errors regarding compatibility with FT, RT, and ESUI. Is there a way to mix these three? Or is my best bet to unpack Retouch and learn how to replace their avatars with the ones I want manually? Thanks in advance

The main avatars can work just by putting FT above retouch and turning FT's theme off... If you're talking about MINI avatars, that's not possible.

Thanks Bonez for updating the avatars!  Now they're all pretty consistent with the remake feel.

The "Blind" status icon still gets me to do a double take since it kinda looks more a "Bleed" or "Ink" or "Oiled" icon. But this is a Remake problem though since there isn't a real icon or actual status effect for it anymore.

The reason darkness uses an ink icon is because:
"Darkness
Darkness is mainly usable by enemies. The player only has access to the status through the Ink item"

It actually does make sense.
